The moors are magical places, tranquilly quiet, places of transcendence. Not another soul in sight; but that feeling of sublime solitude - whilst at the same time feeling part of everything. The original oil painting was part of a commission a few years ago, as an attempt to capture the essence of living in sight of the magnificent Rough Tor, a high point of Bodmin Moor in Cornwall, UK. For me, just the colours themselves are enough to stir some deep emotion!
Stretched-canvas with a 40mm depth (back to the wall). Sides are printed with a mirror image of the edge of the artwork.
