This mixed-media (mainly watercolour) is inspired by the artist’s visits to Battersea during the 1980s. This is what he says:
I used to love my visits to London, spending time with a fellow artist from Wandsworth, finding views to paint along the Thames. This piece I believe may have been begun on location, but definitely had a great deal of imaginary memory worked in the studio. I love the kind of lush quality of this piece. It will look fantastic framed up!
