This oil painting has been evolving for at least a couple of decades. Slowly but surely it has developed a more intimate sense of colourful presence - the feeling of being there - looking through into the distance. I have a feeling it originally related to a body of water somewhere near Plymouth. I do know it sings for me now - with a vibrant sense of elemental integration.
