My association with the sand dunes and beach near the lighthouse at Gwithian, near Hayle in Cornwall goes back over four decades - when I first moved to Hayle. I've always found that part of the north coast intriguing for its quality of light, and would often sketch and paint there all that time ago. This oil painting more reflects my feelings about it, rather than the place itself. If you've been there, you'll know what I mean about the light.
